Visions and Values
Vision, Mission, and Values
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” John 10:10b
Vision
Journeying together to live life to the full
Mission
To serve our local community – families of all faiths and those with no faith at all – by providing a broad and deep outstanding education, rooted in Christian values, that prepares each child for the next step in life
Aims
We want all of our children to:
- be prepared for their next step in life, whatever that is
- have equal access to a full range of opportunities inside and out of the classroom
- receive high-quality education in our local community
- learn in a distinctive, inclusive, and welcoming Christian culture
Approach
This approach is embedded across all areas of school life and lived out through our monthly school values. It is reflected in the annual School Development Plan which Governors monitor throughout the year
Our Values
To achieve our vision and mission, we have identified Christian values which help us to explore what it means to “live life to the full”. Each "value of the month" helps us to reflect on how we navigate our school journey together, how we are inspired by our learning and each other, how we respond to personal challenge, and how we celebrate our successes and those of our friends. We use bible stories and stories from other faiths and traditions to help us to think through these value themes for ourselves, and then respond personally and collectively
