Term 1 - Dynamic Dynasties

This half-term we are learning about ancient Egypt. We start by locating Egypt on a map and discovering its landscape and the location of its oldest settlements.  We will then move to more of a historical focus and learn about their social hierarchy, famous people and some of their famous inventions. We spend time examining the archeological evidence and learn more about how historians establish what happened in history. 

A highlight of our term is our residential trip to Kilvrough. We develop our team work and have great fun climbing, caving and body-boarding!
